The Infrastructure Policy of the institution is to ensure adequate facilities to provide conducive academic environment for effective teaching-learning and holistic development of students, strengthening its infrastructural facilities according to the functional and growing needs of the institution. Being a government college, the government is constantly infusing adequate capital to support teaching learning process.
The Institute has 22 well-furnished, spacious and well ventilated classrooms including 11 ICT facility which are also well illuminated. Classrooms are maintained as per norms for proper visibility and audibility. The classrooms are equipped with adequate furniture, blackboard, projectors, fans, lights and power backup.
The institution recognizes the importance of the library as a good learning resource. It is updated regularly with the latest books and journals.

Library is partially automated using KOHA and SOUL (Software for Universities Libraries) version 2.0, SOUL 2.0 is a state of art integrated library management software designed and developed by the INFLIBNET centre based on the requirements of college. It’s a user-friendly software developed to work under client-server environment. SOUL is Unicode based multilingual support, SOUL also supports cataloguing of e resources like e journals and e books etc. Library is Wi-Fi enabled, barcoding is complete and access to e-resources is provided through NLIST Inflibnet subscription. Library has the facilities for issue return of books and maintaining record of books and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue). This facility is used by students & faculties for search of books by title/author name etc. LMS automation involves different steps for information feeding, searching (OPAC), generation reports and book issue/return/exchange with the help of bar coding software. Integrated library management system encompasses various functions usually including circulation, acquisitions and cataloguing. There is an Open Access Catalogue for students and staff, Web OPAC facility is made available through SOUL 2.0. Web OPAC can be accessed through separate e-Resource Centre in Library. Users can export their search results in to PDF, MS Excel, and MARCXML format. There is a separate e library section of central library where students and staff can access e resources available through remote access NLIST, NDL , NPTEL SWAYAM, e paathshala and in house repository of content related to syllabus, Faculty Research Papers and books Newspapers and journals.
Our college students regularly take part in the cultural activities under the guidance of Coordinator. This committee plays a vital role in organizing cultural activities as dancing, singing and mono acting, skit and literary activities like giddha, group shabad, group song, folk song, quiz, debate, elocution, poetical recitation, fine arts (painting, poster making, collage etc.) and music competitions which are conducted on a regular basis. Students also participate on Independence Day and Republic Day programs. The organization has an auditorium with a capacity of 300 students for organizing cultural programmes. We try our best to provide opportunity to students which result in enhancement of the personal skills and experiences like confidence, self-presentation; teamwork and collaboration, time management and organizational skills, self-awareness, self-discipline, open-mindedness. Our college students regularly take part in the cultural activities under the guidance of Coordinator, Youth Welfare and won prizes. Every year, our students participate with full fervour and zeal in all activities at the Youth Festivals of different Universities. The organization has good record of achievements made in various cultural activities.
Ours is a professional institute and there is no teaching subject as Physical Education and hence there is no teacher/Director of Physical Education. However, physical facilities of Gymnasium for the general fitness of sports persons, indoor games and as per the directions of State Govt. playground has been shared with adjoining Govt. State College of Education, Patiala for outdoor games and sports activities are organized under the supervision of a teacher. The college encourages sports persons to participate in University, Inter-varsity and National competitions in the Indoor games of chess, body-building, power-lifting, weight-lifting and outdoor games of cricket, badminton, athletics, cross country, cycling and volley-ball. Annual Sports meet is organized during every Academic Session. Yoga Day is celebrated every year on Yoga Day i.e. 21 June.
The Institution has domain centric laboratories. Adequate and well maintained equipment’s are provided. The laboratories are kept open beyond the working hours depending on the need of the students. Sufficient safety measures have been incorporated and are displayed at strategic locations in the laboratories. One Vocational Lab is also provided for the Office Automation and Secretarial Practices.
The college has three fully equipped modern Wi-Fi Computer Labs consisting of 116 computers with ICT facilities as well as internet speed of 200 mbps data 3300 GB Bharat Fiber FTTH Plans (BSNL). Every department has separate computer systems with Wi-Fi facility.
The institution also provides free Wi-Fi facility to cater to the academic needs of the Campus with a speed of mbps data GB under Jio Internet plan. Every Department has separate Wi-Fi facility with the speed of 100 mbps data 3300 GB Bharat Fiber FTTH Plans (BSNL).
There is one Language Lab which caters the needs of students for improving Spoken English. There is a Language Lab consisting of 22 N Computing and one server facility provided to the students.
The college has one seminar hall and one multipurpose hall to conduct seminars, conferences, guest lectures, and workshops for students and faculty. All seminar halls have adequate seating capacity and these are equipped with LCD projectors, whiteboards, raised platforms and public address system with internet facility. Multipurpose hall with latest facilities provides ample opportunity for our staff and students to exhibit their talents in different activities.
The campus is under video surveillance cameras for security and safety of the college. College has fixed up CCTV cameras at various places. The main entrance of the college also has physical security round the clock.
The institute provides bus pass facilities for the students from and to various parts of the nearby city through state transport. College dispensary provides first aid facilities. The institute has a tie up with a nearby Sadhbhawna Hospital for any medical emergency. Canteen facilities are also provided for students & staff which has adequate seating capacity. Food served is hygienically prepared and subsidized.
Rooftop solar panels harness sunlight to generate electricity. For the purpose of renewable power an environment friendly 25 KW Solar Panel is installed on Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hall.
As per the State Govt. directions the college has a shared Hostel facility for boys and girls with adjoining Govt. State College of Education, Patiala.

Facilities for medical emergencies: A qualified Nurse on the hostel premises to look into minor ailments. Doctor on Call in case of emergencies from Govt. Rajindra Hospital. There is a sick room as well. The college has a tie up with a nearby Sadhbhawna Hospital for any medical emergency.
• Library Facilities: Hostel Library contains newspapers, magazines and books.
• Accommodation: is available for the Hostel Warden and Nursing room on the premises. There is provision of Aqua Guard and Cooler facilities for safe drinking water.
• Security:
a) A security guard and an attendant is available outside the hostel round the clock.
b) City Police personnel (male and female) are deployed at the main gate during the working hours.
The students are provided other amenities like un-interrupted supply of power through Genset, drinking water-coolers with R.O. facility, first aid and canteen facilities.
